Lydia came to us from Edgewind Kennels in Las Vegas, NV. She has gained her conformation championship title and has been training for competition agility trials. You may have seen Lydia running the course at the Kansas City Pet Expo and Dogtoberfest in Blue Springs. She is a proud member of D.O.G.’s agility squad!

Magenta is our black and rust Miniature Pinscher. She is our tiny little “shy” girl. She loves to sit with us and get cuddles and is a bit jealous of the other dogs. We love her quiet way and her ”snuggliness."

Sophie is our resident Schipperke. She is so full of energy and always looking for mischief! Since we are working on harnessing some of that energy, Sophie has taken basic puppy classes and beginning agility classes. So far, she is doing very well!

Jasmine is the resident queen and ruler of all canines in our household! Jasmine was adopted from the Independence Animal Shelter in August of 2008. She is very loyal, loving and to say that she has personality plus is an understatement! Adopting a pet from the shelter has been a very positive experience for us. We always recommend rescues or shelters as the first choice when looking for a pet.

Some people think we are crazy for having pet rats. Well, as odd as it may seem, rats make wonderful pets and are very bright little creatures. They exhibit gentleness and intelligence and we have thoroughly enjoyed having them. Our three girls are Angel, Skittles and Daisy.
